frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Mini sessions are perfect for families, couples, kids, seniors, and quick branding portraits. They’re ideal for seasonal updates—think Ogden sunflower minis, Logan Canyon fall color, Antelope Island sunsets, and Bear Lake golden hour.

  • Mini sessions are designed for immediate family (up to 6 people). If you have a larger group, please reach out—back-to-back slots or a full session may be a better fit.

  • You’ll receive a map pin and parking notes 24–48 hours via email before your session. Locations vary by event (e.g., Green Acres Sunflower Field in Ogden, Logan Canyon, Antelope Island, Bear Lake).

  • Some locations allow leashed pets and some do not. We love photographing pets where allowed! Please ask in advance for your specific mini session (policies can differ for Antelope Island, sunflower fields, and canyon areas).

  • We keep a close eye on the forecast. If conditions would negatively impact photos or safety, we’ll reschedule to the closest available date/time (weather calls are at photographer’s discretion). Light mist or overcast can be gorgeous—sunflowers and fall color both love soft light!

    • Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule with 72+ hours’ notice (subject to availability).

    • Cancellations/No-shows: The retainer is non-refundable, but transferable to another mini date if you provide 72+ hours’ notice. Weather reschedules are exempt.

  • Some locations (e.g., Antelope Island State Park) may require entry or parking fees. Any park or venue fees are the client’s responsibility.

  • Your online gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. You can download high-resolution files and order professional prints directly from the gallery.

    All delivered photos include professional color/grading and light skin/blemish polish. Advanced retouching (object removal, braces removal, etc.) is available as an add-on.
