frequently asked questions

  • TIP: Create a Pinterest board or photo gallery. We LOVE Pinterest boards. It allows us to get an idea of the style photography you like, as well as the type of posing that you like best. We encourage you to collect photos you like in a board and send it to us via email at least a week before your shoot: glohophoto@gmail.com.

If you aren’t Pinterest savvy, don’t fret! Take a look through our portfolio and let us know which ones you like best.

  • We recommend neutral colors and clothing that you’re comfortable in. If you’re uncomfortable in what you’re wearing, it’s going to show in the photos and in your face!

Avoid being too matchy, but choose complimentary colors. Don’t overthink it!

  • We typically bring blankets in case the weather shifts. If you have littles, bring their favorite toys and bring some snacks! The littles tend to get worn out quickly, and a snack usually helps us extend shooting time.

If you have chosen a package with wardrobe changes, bring those outfits, as well as extra makeup to touch up as we shoot. Bring water! Hydrated models are the best models!

  • If we are shooting outdoors, we prefer sunrise and sunset. The light is usually best during these times. If the weather is cloudy or overcast on the day of your shoot, don’t fret! This creates gorgeous lighting for us!

If we are shooting in studio, anytime of day usually works since we can control the light.

  • Fall photos are in very high demand and this is our busiest time of year. We recommend contacting us to book your outdoor fall photo shoot beginning in August.

The season peaks at different times throughout the year but if we have you on a list in advance, we can get you the best photos at the right time. Typical peak colors happen anywhere between September and October.

  • To ensure a happy baby during your session, please hold off on feeding until you arrive at the studio, or if we are doing an in home session, do not feed until we arrive. Feel free to adjust the schedule a little bit to ensure your baby stays happy, but if he/she can eat while we are setting up, it’s ideal for a successful shoot.
