We are Taylor and Bethany Forest, and we love working together! Bethany does most of the shooting these days, but on larger projects you’ll see us working together, and you’re always welcome to request us both.
I’m Bethany, a portrait photographer who chases what feels real. I don’t force a one-size-fits-all style, because people aren’t one-size-fits-all. I shoot what looks good in the moment and edit it to match how I experienced it through the lens, which means every session gets its own look, its own mood, and its own magic.
I photograph with a Nikon mirrorless camera, and my favorite lens currently is my 35mm “storytelling” lens. It lets me stay close while still capturing the wider scene, the in-between moments, and the details you’ll want to remember years from now.
My favorite sessions are seniors and couples, but I also love photographing newborns, maternity, and families - basically anything that feels like a chapter worth keeping.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually outside hiking with my two 13-year-old pups, playing on the lake, or exploring in my Jeep or on my quad. I’m known for a fun, casual vibe that keeps sessions relaxed and easy, and I love photographing people lakeside or anywhere in Utah’s gorgeous mountains.
